Chesterfield

Heating, cooling, indoor air quality, plumbing, and electrical service across Chesterfield County, Virginia.

About Chesterfield County

Chesterfield is one of our largest service zones and one of the most varied. The county runs from Bon Air on the eastern edge (older, established neighborhoods close to the river) through Hull Street corridor (mixed-age commercial and residential), to Chester and Ettrick (older, more rural), and all the way out to Matoaca and the Powhite extension area where new construction is still going up. Major neighborhoods include Brandermill (covered in our Midlothian description, but technically in Chesterfield), Salisbury, Woodlake, Tarrington, Founders Bridge, Magnolia Green, Hallsley, and Hampton Park.

The housing stock varies just as widely. We see 1950s ranches in Bon Air, 1970s and 1980s split-levels along Hull Street, master-planned community homes from every decade since 1980 in the central Chesterfield neighborhoods, and brand-new construction along the Powhite corridor. Our crews are routinely on jobs in three or four different parts of the county on the same day.

What we do across Chesterfield

Heating, cooling, indoor air quality, plumbing, and electrical service for single-family homes, townhouses, condos, and apartment communities. We also handle a significant amount of multi-family work for properties along Hull Street and in the Chester corridor. The most common Chesterfield projects we handle are heat pump and AC replacements, tankless water heater conversions, EV charger installs (heaviest in the central Chesterfield master-planned neighborhoods), generator installs, panel upgrades, polybutylene repipes (Brandermill and Woodlake especially), and IAQ work.

Multi-family work in Chesterfield

Several of our largest multi-family service contracts are with Chesterfield apartment communities. We handle scheduled maintenance, same-day tenant calls, turnover prep between leases, and equipment tracking through the property's management software. If you manage a multi-family property in Chesterfield and the HVAC operation feels reactive rather than planned, that is exactly the gap our service contracts close.

Permits, inspections, and Dominion

Chesterfield County's permit office is generally one of the easier ones to work with in the Richmond metro. Most permits are issued within a week. We pull every permit ourselves, schedule the inspections, and provide the closed permit record at the end of the project. For panel upgrades, EV chargers, and generators, we coordinate the meter pull with Dominion Energy. Fresh Air carries Virginia license 2710051155 (HVAC) and 2705143403 (electrical, gas, and plumbing).
